THE PURPOSE OF MY PREDICTIONS
My goal with these posts is to divine within the framework of astrological forecasting
what is coming down the road.
Over the coming decade the "old" that has defined our civilization and culture for the past 500 years is passing way while something new is struggling to be born. The struggle for something new will reveal itself through a zeitgeist ("the spirit of the time") that will sweep the world with tremendous force and intensity, reawaking the Promethean thrust for change, reform, and progress, particularly in the sciences, arts, economics, politics, and religion.
Many of my predictions depict events and scenarios that seem impossible today but
will become commonplace during the great unraveling and paradigm shift over
the coming decade. What I can say with certainty is that what is most improbable but possible today will become mandatory during this period.
For example, it is possible that we could all be driving electric cars by now but the automotive industry, the oil companies, and the U.S. government has limited the development of this technology. Or, alternatively, we could moving rapidly towards a Type 1 Civilization (a civilization that is able to harness all of the power available on a planet, specifically, the Earth has an available power of 1.74 1017W, or 174 petawatts) by moving away from fossil fuel and developing large-scale application of fusion power and solar energy systems (from enormous space based powered satellites) that will move our civilization toward a more unitary framework creating a new era in international relations and global economic development, but has been held back from a consortium of powerful transnational controlling interest in the political systems of most nation-states.
In short, I believe that the core power structure for our civilization will fundamentally change in dramatic ways that will alter our individual beliefs and values and transform how we perceive reality and how we respond to that new perception. This is the basis of the paradigm shift that began in 2008 and will continue well into 2020.
Therefore, my purpose is to predict with the greatest accuracy possible what
will be happening during this paradigm shift.
The zeitgeist will unveil itself in the spring of 2010.
Nothing like this has
happened
since the Fall of the Roman Empire.
